Devon is starting to wake up from its slumbers. A day of sunshine, even with a cold breeze blowing off the sea, is enough to get the seaside traders unpacking their wares with glee. I love the brightly coloured buckets and spades piled high in stacks, just waiting for a child to arrive, each glowing with anticipation at the thought of a day on the beach. As I was driving home last night, I just had to stop and take pictures of this early splash of colour. Here comes the sun...

beautiful clothes for gorgeous girls!

Sometimes you just want your little angel to look absolutely gorgeous, and it can be difficult finding just the right thing for them to wear. I have been looking for something special for my girls to wear to a summer wedding and Lucy Enfield and Sophie Worthington, co-founders of ilovegorgeous, have yet again created a Spring collection that has sent me into a state of oohing and aahing! Gorgeous fabric, some with a hint of sparkle...definitely worth looking at their lovely website.

Fun Valentines Day Gifts for the Kids...

 

 

 

 

 

This wonderful idea is from the blog of Gabrielle Blair designmom who I follow avidly on Facebook. Like me she has a big family, but still makes time to come up with some fab designs. This is what she's been working on for Valentines Day. I think they’re so cute. She had posted a pdf of the artwork on her site, which means all you have to do is find the animals...love it! I will be looking for pretty yet practical boots for the girls this weekend. Love the moss green tall leather boots from Boden (bottom right).  The grey riding boots (top right) and the fringed suede booties (bottom left) are by Olive Juice - based in America, they make wonderful European inspired shoes and clothes for children.  The chocolate workwear boots (top left) are from Next.
