Devon is starting to wake up from its slumbers. A day of sunshine, even with a cold breeze blowing off the sea, is enough to get the seaside traders unpacking their wares with glee. I love the brightly coloured buckets and spades piled high in stacks, just waiting for a child to arrive, each glowing with anticipation at the thought of a day on the beach. As I was driving home last night, I just had to stop and take pictures of this early splash of colour. Here comes the sun...
